Description
Certifications: BLS; NRP, ACLS.
80 mile radius.
EPIC
Lay out: 23 bed unit, which is divided into two areas, Side A and Side B.
Side A: (low risk) has 7 LDRP rooms in which we care for families throughout the birthing process, and for women and babies throughout the postpartum/newborn stage until hospital discharge.
Side B: (high risk) has a total of 16 beds, 4 are LDRP rooms, 4 delivery/c-section suites, and a new 2-bed recovery suite.

Experience with High Risk L&D Required.
Must be able to float between High and Low Risk areas.
*3500 deliveries a year.
RN ratio is 1:2 (average).
Rotating shifts.
Bed Count: 23 labor beds, 4 OR suites, 2 PACU beds, 6 OB emergency department beds.
Staffing Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 RN-to-patient (depending on phase of care and acuity).
Shift Options: Day, night, rotating day/night, rotating weekends.
Scheduling: Self-scheduling.
