<p><strong>Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Urgent Care)</strong></p><p><strong>FastMed Urgent Care – North Carolina</strong></p><p><strong>$95-$105/hr</strong></p><p>FastMed Urgent Care is seeking an experienced <strong>Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</strong> to provide high‑quality care in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. Providers will manage a full spectrum of urgent care needs and work collaboratively with onsite clinical teams.</p><p> </p><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Perform comprehensive assessments, including history and physical exams</li><li>Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections</li><li>Order and interpret X‑rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies</li><li>Prescribe medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans</li><li>Perform minor procedures: suturing, splinting, incision &amp; drainage</li><li>Educate patients on care plans and follow‑up</li><li>Document all encounters in <strong>EPIC</strong></li><li>Collaborate with onsite physicians and clinical staff</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Graduate of an accredited <strong>NP or PA program</strong></li><li><strong>Active North Carolina license</strong></li><li><strong>Board‑certified FNP</strong> (or equivalent for PAs)</li><li><strong>BLS required</strong>; <strong>ACLS/PALS preferred</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 1 year</strong> of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience</li></ul>
