Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Endocrinology)

Outpatient Endocrinology – Adult Patients

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support an outpatient Endocrinology practice. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal conditions, osteoporosis, and metabolic concerns.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive endocrine assessments and follow‑up visits
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic diseases
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and specialty diagnostics
  • Adjust medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on disease management and lifestyle modifications
  • Document all encounters in the EMR and collaborate with supervising physicians

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP or PA with authorization to practice in Georgia
  • Experience in Endocrinology or Internal Medicine
  • Strong clinical assessment and chronic disease management skills
  • BLS required; additional certifications may vary by site
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
