Locum Tenens – NP/PA (Endocrinology)

Outpatient Endocrinology – Adult Patients

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support an outpatient Endocrinology practice. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal conditions, osteoporosis, and metabolic concerns.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive endocrine assessments and follow‑up visits
Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic diseases
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and specialty diagnostics
Adjust medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans
Provide patient education on disease management and lifestyle modifications
Document all encounters in the EMR and collaborate with supervising physicians

Qualifications

Licensed NP or PA with authorization to practice in Georgia
Experience in Endocrinology or Internal Medicine
Strong clinical assessment and chronic disease management skills
BLS required; additional certifications may vary by site
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
