Description
Need Specifics: URGENT BACKFILL – needed for an ASAP start. Outpatient Dialysis Clinic - The expected services are 95% outpatient with the rare potential of providing Dialysis 1:1 in a patient room if admitted. 36-hour guarantee encompassing 3, 11-hour shifts Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is a mandatory staff meeting once a month generally for 2 hours on a Tuesday. Shift is usually 5:00 am -5:30 pm or 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. This just depends on the census. There are no weekends or holidays unless the holiday falls on MWF. We are a 15-station unit of 2.5 shifts. Staffing ratio is 7-10 patients with 2-3 PCTs. There are generally 2-3 clinical Nurses for 15 patients. There are no education or certification requirements, just an active RN license to practice in the state of Texas. BLS and CPR required. There is no vaccine requirement, but we do have to know the status. Experience at least 2 years of Dialysis experience. Typical tasks are assessments, Medication administration, care plan, and foot checks when due. We use the Braun dialog machines and currently CKG- TIME EMR. Nurse scrub color is Navy Blue.
