We are looking to staff a 1-on-1 school nurse for a pre-k aged student. Hours would be 7a-4p  Please see below for a brief description of the student's needs.   <ul><li>The student is medically fragile and needs continuous nursing oversight during the school day.</li><li>The student requires oxygen support all day and uses:<ul><li>Supplemental oxygen (baseline around 0.5 Liters Per Minute)</li><li>A pulse oximeter to monitor oxygen levels (baseline sats are around 75%)</li><li>Portable suction for airway/secretions management</li></ul></li></ul>Respiratory support<ul><li>Nurse will provide chest physiotherapy (CPT) three times daily as ordered.</li><li>Nurse must be comfortable monitoring breathing, oxygen saturation, and responding to changes.</li></ul>Feeding support<ul><li>Student is fed through a G/J tube:<ul><li>Continuous feeding through the J-tube (Pediasure Reduced Calorie)</li><li>The G-tube is vented using a Farrell bag system</li></ul></li><li>Nurse must be comfortable with feeding pumps, tube care, and basic troubleshooting.</li></ul>Mobility / total care<ul><li>Student is dependent for all care, including:<ul><li>Toileting</li><li>Positioning</li><li>Transfers</li></ul></li><li>Nurse should be comfortable with full-assist care and safe handling.</li></ul>Case complexity<ul><li>This is considered a basic case (no trach/vent), but it still requires an RN who is confident with cardiac and respiratory monitoring/support and who can manage a medically fragile child safely in a school setting.</li></ul>
