Description

Baxter Health is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR/Vascular Surgery to join their surgical services team. The CVOR RN will provide direct perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients, functioning in scrub and circulator roles as needed.

The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary care team. This role supports evidence-based practice and a patient-cantered healing environment through a Shared Governance model.

Additional Information: Unit: 6770 – CVOR / Vascular Surgery Shift: Day shift | 5x8s (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM) Contract Length: 13 weeks On-Call: Required | On-call pay $5.00/hr Charge Nurse Differential: $2.50/hr Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable) Charting System: Cerner (preferred experience) Requirements & Compliance: Active Arkansas or Compact RN license (license in hand at submission) CVOR experience required; minimum 3 years RN experience preferred BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required at submission SSN and RTO required with submission COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Labs must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a documented plan Local Policy: 50-mile radius rule enforced Local candidates not accepted

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
