• Specialty: Orthopedic, General Surgery, Laparoscopy, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, DaVinci, ENT, Pediatric Dentistry
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 8 or 10 hours M-F plus call
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Weekend Hours: on call
• Call Requirements: 4-6 weekdays per month; every 3rd weekend (schedules are subject to change based on circumstances.)

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 6 ORs
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Standard OR Equipment plus a DaVinci Xi Robot
• EHR: Meditech
• Supervisor: Don Tricarico, Surgical Services Director
• Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc.: All except children under 1 year

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Circulating and Operating Room
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Scrubbing in on surgical cases
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Abdominal, GYN, Laparoscopic, fractures, total joints, bladder, prostate, cataracts, etc.
• Personality Fit: Pleasant, positive, hard working
• Required Education: Must have an RN license that allows the individual to practice in North Carolina.

• Scrub Color: blue (provided by the hospital)
• Any unacceptable attire: No provocative, offensive or political attire.
