Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Specialty: Cath Lab Tech with Electrophysiology (EP) experience
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• WVRT license
• Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT CI) or ARRT (R) / ARRT (VI) accepted

Experience Requirements

• Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI devices
• Experience with Electrophysiology procedures including PVC, PT, Cryo or transeptal ablations
• Experience with laser lead extractions and device work
• Proficient in EP recording systems

Job Duties

• Scrub and document cases
• Stock rooms
• Assist physicians with all EP procedures
• Monitor and circulate cases in EP
• Use EP recording systems

Unit Information

• 3 Cath Labs with EP
• Average 15-18 cases per day
• Work exclusively in Cath Lab & EP (no floating to other units)

Equipment / EMR

• Toshiba imaging systems
• Carto mapping system
• Abbott equipment

Scheduling & Shifts

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (day or afternoon shifts)
• Rotating shifts: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Call required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Orientation

• Unit-specific orientation provided

Additional Notes

• Scrubs provided daily (OR scrubs)
• Must be able to work on call hours from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
