Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg/Telemetry | Night Shift

We are seeking an experienced RN MedSurg/Telemetry nurse to join our night shift team. This role is ideal for a confident, adaptable nurse who can work independently in a critical access, 25-bed hospital located in the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Schedule

• Night shift
• Every other weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to MedSurg and Telemetry patients
• Work independently in a fast-paced critical access environment
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
• Float to other units as needed based on hospital staffing and patient care needs
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital policy and standards of practice

Requirements

• Active RN license (state license or compact, as applicable)
• Previous MedSurg and Telemetry experience required
• Ability to function independently and make sound clinical decisions
• Prior charge nurse experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility to float to other units when needed
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
