Description

Ultrasound Technologist – 13-Week Contract

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule with limited on-call requirements.

Assignment Details

Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
- 4 shifts of 8 hours
- 1 shift of 9 hours
On-Call: Yes
- On-call requirement: Every third Monday night, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM at MHC

Schedule

Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Herrin)
Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Herrin)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging
Maintain proper documentation and image quality standards
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
Maintain ultrasound equipment and comply with departmental policies

Requirements

Active Ultrasound Technologist certification (ARDMS or equivalent)
Relevant clinical experience required
Ability to participate in on-call rotation
Strong communication and patient-care skills
