Description
Job Title: Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Shift: 12H Nights (1830–0700)
Location: Little Rock, AR
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Unit Details:
- Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital
- 14-bed L&D unit | ~3,500 deliveries/year
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Float required to Antepartum/Postpartum
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years L&D experience
- Travel Experience: Required
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Licensure: Active Compact RN or Arkansas RN
- Certifications (Required): BLS, NRP
- Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Care for laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and high-risk OB patients
- Circulate/scrub as applicable
- Manage Oxytocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin infusions
- IV starts, lab draws for mothers and newborns
- Fetal monitoring and newborn stabilization
Systems & Equipment:
- EPIC, Pyxis
- Alaris pumps, fetal monitors, epidural pumps, infant warmers
