Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatrics
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Pay: $3,712/week
Shift: Days | 12-hour shifts | 48 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: 02/23/2026
 

We are seeking a Travel Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) with pediatric experience for a day-shift assignment in Oklahoma City. This is a high-hour contract offering competitive weekly pay and consistent scheduling.

Position Details:

  • Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapy
  • Schedule: 4x12-hour day shifts (48 hours/week)
  • Employment Type: Travel contract

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed
  • Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring
  • Document patient responses and treatments in the EMR
  • Act as a clinical resource for medical staff
  • Maintain and clean respiratory equipment
  • Participate in rapid response and code teams
  • Provide age-appropriate care across pediatric populations

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program
  • Active Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • BLS required (ACLS within 3 months of start)
  • RRT credential required (or obtained within 12 months)
  • Pediatric or critical care experience preferred

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
