Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatrics
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Pay: $3,712/week
Shift: Days | 12-hour shifts | 48 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: 02/23/2026
We are seeking a Travel Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) with pediatric experience for a day-shift assignment in Oklahoma City. This is a high-hour contract offering competitive weekly pay and consistent scheduling.
Position Details:
- Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapy
- Schedule: 4x12-hour day shifts (48 hours/week)
- Employment Type: Travel contract
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed
- Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring
- Document patient responses and treatments in the EMR
- Act as a clinical resource for medical staff
- Maintain and clean respiratory equipment
- Participate in rapid response and code teams
- Provide age-appropriate care across pediatric populations
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program
- Active Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS required (ACLS within 3 months of start)
- RRT credential required (or obtained within 12 months)
- Pediatric or critical care experience preferred
