Description

Physical Therapist (PT) – Contract (Developmental Disabilities)

Schedule: Flexible, up to 40 hrs/week (part-time applicants welcome)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services in a residential and day program serving individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team supporting residents in a long-standing community, offering flexibility, collaborative care, and both full-time and part-time options.

What You’ll Do

Conduct physical therapy evaluations and ongoing assessments
Develop and implement individualized habilitation plans (IHPs)
Provide therapy in therapy rooms, residential settings, and day program environments
Complete daily documentation, evaluations, and therapy summary reports
Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to coordinate care
Recommend adaptive equipment, therapy tools, and gross motor activities
Engage families and caregivers in treatment planning when appropriate
Provide services with flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends if needed

What We’re Looking For

Licensed Physical Therapist (or license-eligible) in Ohio
AHA BLS Certification
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team
New graduates are welcome to apply
