Mid 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30)

Travel exp: No
Note: will consider with strong CVOR experience, previous travel exp preferred

Position/Specialty: Scrub Tech - CVOR - Cardiac Call obligation
Years of experience Req: 2 yrs
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend Req: Yes
Certs Req: BLS, WA license
Floating within Hospital: Yes
Floating to sister Hospitals: No

RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max
Ave daily census: 50-75 Rooms: 28 Floating to other specialties if slow Patient Population: Orthopedic sports (limited total joints) lots of minimally invasive arthroscopic and, laparoscopic, cases, Robotics, General, GYN, URO, and Plastics.
Experience with Neuro, Spine, Thoracic and Vascular a plus. Very busy, high acuity academic environment however

Parking Costs: $10.26 Daily

Holiday Comments: Holiday hours will not count toward weekly OT. Daylight Savings Time: UW Medicine may at its option allow the following: In the spring, Healthcare Providers may be paid for their regular shift hours, usually 8 or 12 hours. In the fall, overtime may be paid if appropriate and approved

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
