Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Angio Holding Registered Nurse to support a pre- and post-procedural Angio Holding unit. This role involves caring for patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safe and high-quality care before and after interventions.

Unit Details

• Unit: Angio Holding (Pre- and Post-Procedure)
• Cases: Cardiac, Vascular, Interventional Radiology
• Bays: 7
• Staffing: Typically 3 RNs per shift (occasionally 4)
• EMR: EPIC

Schedule

• Shift: Day shift
• Hours: 0530–1800
• Frequency: 3 days per week

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care for angiography and interventional patients
• Demonstrate working knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology and radiology procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license (state-appropriate)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pre-/post-procedural, cath lab, or similar setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work day shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
