Description
We’re hiring a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support students across general and special education settings in Cypress, TX. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative school environment.
What You’ll Need
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field
- Texas LSSP license (or in process)
- At least 1 year of school-based experience (internship counts)
- Knowledge of Special Education and IEP processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
What You’ll Do
- Provide individual and group counseling
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff
- Support students during crisis situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Collaborate with community agencies as needed
Work Environment
- School-based setting with district-wide travel
- Primarily seated work using standard office equipment
- Occasional light lifting (under 15 lbs)
- Fast-paced days with frequent interruptions
