Description

Title - Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location - Indianapolis, IN

Duration - 13 weeks

Shift - Day, Eve, & Night
Weekly hours - 40

Key Responsibilities

Perform, analyze, review, and release lab test results per SOPs
Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
Perform and document QC, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions
Handle specimens, reagents, and records accurately
Report STAT and critical results as required
Participate in training, audits, and inspections

Requirements

Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, QC/QA, and lab systems
Good computer skills and ability to multitask
Excellent attention to detail and patient confidentiality

Education & Experience

BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
ASCP/AMT certification (or eligibility) preferred
Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience (high-complexity testing preferred)
