Travel RN – Med/Surg Ortho | Night Shift

Location: Bowling Green, KY
Unit: Orthopedic / Medical-Surgical
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Experience Required: 2+ years

Pay Package

Weekly Gross: $2,038
Weekly Stipend: $1,246
W2 Rate: $22/hr

Unit Details

Orthopedic Unit: 30 beds
Medical-Surgical Unit: 37 beds
Patient Ratio: Typically 6:1
Documentation System: Meditech
Support Staff:
- PCTs and SNEs in tech roles
- Unit Secretary available during day shift

Scheduling Requirements

Monthly scheduling (4-week increments)
Full-time travelers must work 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Floating to inpatient units required (task-based floating to CCU/ED as needed)

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, patient-centered care to Med/Surg and Ortho patients
Manage patient assignments efficiently on night shift
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Assist with bedside procedures as needed
Adhere to hospital policies and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

Active RN License
BLS Certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude
