Description

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Postpartum.
  • Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first-time travelers.
  • Current AHA BLS & NRP required.
  • Lactation certification preferred.
  • MA License
  • EMR Exp Preferred: EPIC

 

Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm-7:30 am (NO block scheduling). 
Floating Required: No 
Must have acute care experience.
Must work every other weekend.
Must work every other major holiday.
Flu vaccine is required during the season.
Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided.

Unit Specifics: Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage Required Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenox Specialty Equipment: Welch Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Kohden; venodynm machine; IV pump, Panda warmer, Medela Breast pump Patients: Newborn Number of Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care Nursery
