Job Description
SHIFT: 4 days x 10 hours, 4x10 0630-1700 or 0815-1845
Rotating weekday position. **NO BLOCK SCHEDLING**
On Call: After department closes until open.
Manager states on-call days would be about 7 a month, but on-call shifts are not very busy
POSITION PURPOSE: Performs Nuclear Medicine Procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
8:15-1845 Mon, Tues, Fri and 0700-1730 Thurs, please note that we would like to traveler take call/standby after hours.
? Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
? One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
? Pending Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license allowed
? Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
? Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
? Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
? Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (offered at Salem Health) within 4 months of hire.
? Must be capable of operating state of the art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical supportive devices.
