Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in an acute care setting.
The RN is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
This role supports quality, safety, and evidence-based practice and may provide guidance to licensed and non-licensed staff.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments per established policies and patient condition
Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team
Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to clinical interventions
Provide patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge
Safely administer medications and treatments according to standards of care
Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
Serve as a mentor and/or preceptor as needed
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives
Utilize evidence-based practice to support quality outcomes and patient satisfaction

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (KY)
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
Telemetry nursing experience required
BLS and NIHSS certifications
Experience using Epic EMR

Education

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Schedule & Shift Details

Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend required
