Description
Night shift contract on a fast paced 28 bed medical surgical unit that supports a wide mix of post op and medically complex patients, including surgical populations and a designated stroke service. The team emphasizes patient safety, evidence based practice, and whole person care, with strong interdisciplinary collaboration, clear communication, and shared governance that promotes teamwork and a supportive orientation for new staff. The RN is responsible for comprehensive assessment, individualized care planning, medication administration, patient education, and coordination of care while maintaining strong time management and acting as a clinical resource as needed. Requirements include at least two years of medical surgical experience, current BLS, active Michigan RN licensure with verification, and a recent skills checklist, with a reliability focused attendance expectation and every other weekend coverage.
