General Med RN (ED & MS) Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 3/2 Guaranteed Hours: 36/week Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles from facility Shift & Scheduling Shifts: 12-hr variable Days/Nights Weekends/Holidays: Every 3rd (may include 2 weekends in a row); holidays as needed On-Call: Possible low census; 2-hr call-back minimum Low Census: Up to 36 unbillable hours per contract GSA: Not applicable during orientation week Unit Details Combined Med-Surg & ED unit (50/50 role) Inpatient: 16 beds (inpatient, obs, hospice, swing bed) ED: 4 beds + 3 exam rooms Extended ED boarders; nurses care for both ED & inpatient patients May float to Infusion Therapy Clinic for med co-signs/break relief Requirements License/Certs: MN RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Experience: 2–3 years with ED experience Charting: Epic required Other Scrubs: Any color Vaccination Policy: During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear a mask at all times (Aspirus policy; mandatory)
