Unit: Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech)

Unit & Patient Details

Unit Size & Patient Volume: 4 beds
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Common Disorders: OSA, CSA, Mixed Complex Apnea, Narcolepsy, some Cardiac and Seizure cases

Primary Sleep Studies Conducted:

PSG (Polysomnography)
PSG with titration
MSLT (Multiple Sleep Latency Test)
MWT (Maintenance of Wakefulness Test)
Inspire titration (training provided, new service)
Scoring
PSG with seizure montage

Technology & Equipment

Scoring & Reporting Software: Cadwell

Scheduling & Requirements

On-Call: No
Certification Requirements: RPSGT or RRT with SDS
Patient Population: Adults (13+)

Additional Expectations: - Sleep Tech must score studies in real-time while performing them, requiring strong multitasking skills. - This role involves working independently with minimal supervision.
