Job Opportunity: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Key West, Florida
Facility: Lower Keys Medical Center (part of Community Health Systems)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM, 3 shifts per week)

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience
Florida RRT certification (must be attached to submission)
NRP certification required
Experience with Medhost charting system
Comfortable working independently in NICU; pediatric experience is also acceptable
AHCA certification required for Florida placements

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintain airways and manage ventilators
Insert arterial lines and perform intubations
Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analyses
