Description

Job Title: LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse
Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC)
Facility: Maple Springs of Palmer
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 20 Weeks
Positions Available: Multiple

Schedule & Shift:

Night Shift
Variable Nights
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week

Work Location:
Maple Springs of Palmer
Palmer, AK

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Assist with admissions, discharges, and daily resident care
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations

Requirements:

Active LPN license (Alaska license preferred or compact/ability to obtain)
Minimum 1 year of recent LTC or Skilled Nursing experience
BLS certification (AHA)
Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour schedules
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Reliable attendance and professionalism

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
