Job Posting – MRI Technologist (Hospital-Based)

Position: MRI Technologist
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Schedule: 4x10s (rotating days) 
 

Schedule & Call Requirements:

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Rotating days
• Weekend and call coverage required
• Shifts typically do not run past 8:00 PM
• Overnight call: shift end through 7:00 AM
• Two (2) Sunday 24-hour call shifts per month

Position Overview:
This is a hospital-based MRI role supporting high-acuity patients. The technologist must be comfortable working independently at times and handling complex exams, including pacemakers and anesthesia cases. This is not an outpatient-style MRI environment.

Requirements:

• Registered MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Previous travel experience not required

Unit / Equipment Details:

• GE MRI scanners
• Medtronic pacemaker systems
• High-acuity inpatient population
• Pacemaker scans and anesthesia-supported cases
• Strong understanding of hospital-based MRI workflows required
