Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
  • Float required as needed
  • NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they already have the required skills and competencies

Unit Information

  • Level II NICU and Normal Newborn unit
  • Admissions for infants 32 weeks gestation or greater

Responsibilities

  • Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
  • CPAP and BiPAP management
  • Feeding tubes and syringe pump use

Required Certifications

  • CLS
  • NRP
