Job Requirements & Qualifications - Step Down Unit Nights

Years of Experience: 2 year(s)

Note: must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months; some ICU exp. or high acuity stepdown required due to the high acuity of this unit. * * * * *

Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required
Charting System: Preferred, Epic

Trauma Level II Experience: Required

Is on-call REQ - No
Weekend REQ: 2 shifts every other weekend. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday -depends on who already is on rotation.
Special Requirements: Titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes. Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months.
