CVICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Phoenix, AZ   Night Shift | 3×12 Hours | 18:00–06:00 | 10–13 Weeks

Position Overview

A CVICU RN is needed for a 10–13 week night‑shift assignment caring for high‑acuity cardiovascular patients. The nurse must have strong critical care experience, be able to manage complex cardiac conditions, and work independently in a fast‑paced ICU environment.

Schedule & Shift Requirements

• Start Date: February 2, 2026 – February 23, 2026
• Shift: 18:00–06:00, 3×12‑hour nights
• Hours: 36 expected hours per week
• Weekends/Holidays: As required by unit needs
• Floating: As needed within scope (if applicable per facility)
• Contract Length: 10–13 weeks

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years CVICU RN experience
• Strong background in:
  • Post‑operative cardiac care
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • Ventilator management
  • Drips, titration, and vasoactive medications
  • Management of critically ill cardiac patients
• Must be able to work independently and manage high‑acuity assignments

Required Certifications

• Active RN license (state‑appropriate)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
