Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Hawaii. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed. Ideal candidates are adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working rotating schedules, including consecutive weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU/Telemetry patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to Medical-Surgical units during low census or low acuity periods as needed
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to all clinical standards and protocols

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Hawaii RN license prior to contract start
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience
• Ability to work consecutive weekends as required
• Flexibility to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Additional certifications such as PALS, NRP, or others preferred
