REQUIRED: must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
• Traveler Experience: 1st timers are accepted
• Locals accepted: No, must be >50 miles
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
• Post MI, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, Renal failure, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips, CVA, Seizure disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Traction, Mastectomy, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• ACLS, BLS, & NIHSS
• Ratios: 1: 3-5 for days and weekends; 1:3-6 for nights
• Float Requirement: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Every other
   
• PATIENT DIAGNOSES: PCU and MS Tele, Surgical pre and post; ENT, general Surgery, Trauma surgery, Ortho surgery. Overflow medical diagnosis patients. Rare Pediatric patient, Travelers not assigned unless experienced.
   
• SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: TCAR preferred
