Facility: Valley Regional Hospital
Location: Claremont, NH
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours guaranteed
Position Overview
Valley Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment. This role is ideal for ER nurses with strong rural or small-facility experience who are comfortable handling a wide variety of emergency cases in a close-knit community hospital setting.
Emergency Department Overview
The Emergency Department at Valley Regional Hospital treats a full spectrum of emergencies, including:
- Trauma and accident-related injuries
- Cardiac emergencies and heart attacks
- Burn injuries
- Poisonings
- Behavioral health and emotional distress
- Sexual assault and violence-related injuries
The department includes triage rooms, treatment rooms, trauma rooms, pediatric and behavioral health spaces, private consultation areas, and a dedicated decontamination area for hazardous exposures.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Previous travel assignment experience (minimum 3 months) – required
- Rural or small-facility experience – required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Permanent address must be included in profile
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Schedule & Work Requirements
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Holiday rotation required
- On-call: None
- No block scheduling or schedule accommodations permitted
