Position Overview

Valley Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment. This role is ideal for ER nurses with strong rural or small-facility experience who are comfortable handling a wide variety of emergency cases in a close-knit community hospital setting.

Emergency Department Overview

The Emergency Department at Valley Regional Hospital treats a full spectrum of emergencies, including:

• Trauma and accident-related injuries
• Cardiac emergencies and heart attacks
• Burn injuries
• Poisonings
• Behavioral health and emotional distress
• Sexual assault and violence-related injuries

The department includes triage rooms, treatment rooms, trauma rooms, pediatric and behavioral health spaces, private consultation areas, and a dedicated decontamination area for hazardous exposures.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel assignment experience (minimum 3 months) – required
• Rural or small-facility experience – required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Permanent address must be included in profile
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Schedule & Work Requirements

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Holiday rotation required
• On-call: None
• No block scheduling or schedule accommodations permitted
