Description
Aspirus Wausau-RRT. Wausau WI
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 3/23/2026
Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hrs
Primary Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital
Shift Requirements: 12 hr Day shift hours are 0630-1900
Float Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED, and general care areas.
May also be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed . Would have advance notice
On Call/Call-Back: N/A
Weekend/Holiday: Every third weekend and holiday rotation
Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, ADVANCED NRP preferred but not required. NBRC RRT, NBRC CRT is accepted, but RRT must be obtained within one year. Active WI license required.
Required Education: Associates Degree
Minimum Experience: 3+ year experience required, peds experience required, NICU experience preferred
*PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Charting/Equipment: V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 AND C1, ISTAT, DOCUMENTATION IN EPIC
Unit Specific Skillset: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED and general care areas. Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and CodeBlue.
Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, Ventilator Management, Patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols, care for all age groups.
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.
Dress Code: closed toed shoes; scrubs any color); clean; no smoking or scent allowed; piercings per dress code policy
