HIGHLIGHTS:

• Minimum Experience: 1-2+ years Med/Surg experience
• Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem is required
• Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: BLS (American Heart) & Active RN or Compact license, NIHSS
  • NIHSS certification preferred for submissions, completion of cert is required prior to end of orientation. Certification provided through Bellin's Apex Innovations, at no charge to the traveler.
• Charting Experience Required: Epic required within the past 2 years
• Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Bellin Health
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: none
• Shift Requirements: 12 NOC (7p-730a)
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36-48 (minimum of 36, up to 48.)
• Float Team Position: Traveler will be floating as needed within skillset to observation unit, Cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab and/or transitional care unit and gaining their comfort surrounding this. Facility will try and keep them in 1-2 like units, but have the potential to float to another unit.
• Scrub Colors: No bright colors or character prints

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Ratios: Day shift 1:4, Pm shift 1:4/1:5 & NOC shift 1:6 occasionally 1:7
• **candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
