Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental protocols. This role supports efficient imaging operations within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Ensure patient safety, screening, and proper positioning
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- ARRT (MRI) or AMRIT Certification (required)
- Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Ability to float between Skagit Valley Hospital (SVH) and Cascade Valley Hospital (CVH) if needed
- Ability to call off up to 3 shifts per contract
