An acute care hospital in Concord, NH is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join their inpatient psychiatric team on a local contract. This is a great opportunity for RNs who are passionate about behavioral health and want consistent weekday hours in a structured, supportive hospital environment.

This facility provides inpatient psychiatric care for adults with acute mental health needs and offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting focused on safety, stabilization, and recovery.

Open Shifts

1st Shift RN
• 6:45am – 3:15pm
• 5 shifts per week
• 40 hours guaranteed

2nd Shift RN
• 2:45pm – 11:15pm
• 5 shifts per week
• 40 hours guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients
• Perform patient assessments and monitor mental status
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and clinical teams
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license
• Psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
