Operating Room Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Memphis, TN 38104   Day Shift | 3×12 Hours | 13 Weeks

Position Overview

An experienced OR RN is needed for a 13‑week day‑shift assignment in a busy surgical department. Candidates must bring strong, recent OR experience and be comfortable circulating in a wide range of surgical specialties. Some transplant experience is preferred. Call participation and shift specifics will be discussed during the interview.

Schedule & Shift Requirements

• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• Shift: 3×12‑hour days
  • Exact shift times discussed during interview
  • Times may vary
• Call: Required; details reviewed during interview
• Weekends: As needed per rotation
• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
• RTO: Must be submitted at time of profile
• Locals: Not accepted within 100 miles (strict rule)

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum experience:
  • 2 years recent OR experience with prior travel, OR
  • 3 years recent OR experience with no travel
• Preferred:
  • Transplant OR experience
• Must be proficient in:
  • Circulating
  • Standard OR workflows
  • High‑acuity surgical environments
• Must be adaptable to changing shift needs
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active Tennessee RN license or Compact RN license
  • Must be active at submission
  • Pending licenses not accepted
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA) preferred unless otherwise noted

Additional Details

• Floating: May occur within facility and within scope
• Travelers must meet NLC guidelines if using compact license
• RTO: Absolutely must be included at submission
• Culture: Fast‑paced OR environment; flexibility is essential
