Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU | PRN / Per Diem

We are seeking an experienced PRN ICU Registered Nurse to join our critical care team for the night shift. This role is ideal for a flexible RN who is comfortable floating and providing high-quality care across units as needed.

Position Details

• Employment Type: PRN / Per Diem
• Shift: Night shift
• Hours: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
• Floating: May be required to float between ICU and Telemetry; willingness to float to Telemetry and Med/Surg is ideal

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse provides safe, effective nursing care to critically ill patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. The RN must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to transition between units within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Float between ICU and Telemetry units as required
• Provide care in Med/Surg units as needed and within scope
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• AHA BLS & ACLS
• ICU experience required
• Ability and willingness to float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med/Surg
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
