Echocardiography Technologist – Per Diem 

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) to join our team on a per diem contract. This role requires open availability and offers consistent 12-hour shifts in a dynamic clinical environment.

Position Details

• Location: Shasta
• Employment Type: Per Diem
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Availability: Open availability required

Job Description

The Echo Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and accurate documentation while working collaboratively with physicians and the cardiovascular care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound studies
• Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort
• Operate echocardiography equipment and associated systems
• Accurately document procedures and findings
• Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
• Maintain equipment readiness and report any issues as needed
• Adhere to all clinical, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• Active Echo Tech credentials (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
• Prior echocardiography experience required
• Ability to work 3x12 shifts with open availability
• Strong technical skills and patient care focus
