Samaritan Health Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. This is a day-shift position with occasional weekend coverage, offering the opportunity to work in a highly specialized, technology-driven environment.

Department Description:

The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Samaritan Health Services utilizes state-of-the-art imaging technology to support fast, accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. Our imaging services include:

• X-Ray
• Fluoroscopy
• Bone Density
• CT Scan
• Digital Mammography
• MRI
• Nuclear Medicine
• PET-CT
• Ultrasound
• Cardiac Catheterization
• Interventional Radiology

The Cath Lab RN plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

 Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic Cath Lab procedures
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Administer medications and maintain hemodynamic monitoring
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary imaging and cardiovascular team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

 Experience / Education / Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required upon submission)
• Healthcare Provider level BLS (required)
• AHA ACLS certification (required)
• One (1) year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting (preferred)
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists [CAP] requirements for moderate complexity testing)
