Description
UNIT: OR TECH
Interview type: CLINICAL INTERVIEW
**Must have strong experience with cataracts/retinas, vascular (thrombectomy) & c-sections**
We cannot submit candidates with low checklist scores as the management team schedules their OR staff based on the traveler's checklist specifically. Accuracy is top priority and the checklist is used during interview**
Minimum Experience: 3+ years experience, must have completed 1 travel assignment (2 preferred)
Required certs: CST & BLS
Required CURRENT Experience: General Surgery, Robotics (Davinci), Ortho (joint, sport & spine), Endo, Urology, Vascular, C-Sections, and Cataract/Retina.
Float requirements: None
On call/call back:
Weekend call - Saturday at 7 am to Monday at 7 am (approx. every 6-8 weeks)
Weeknight call - clinician will be assigned (1) weeknight of call per week from 7p-7a.
Holiday: (1) 24-hour call once per contract and (1) 12-hour holiday shift worked. Recognized holidays: New Years’ Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Day
Staff Meeting: 4th week of every month.
Cancellation: Facility can cancel one shift biweekly without penalty. Hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation, if there are unit closures, holiday weeks, when there is voluntary/approved time off.
Scrubs: provided by facility
