Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Speech Therapist to join a collaborative and supportive rehabilitation team within a large Skilled Nursing Facility. The therapist will work closely with Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The facility includes multiple skilled nursing units, a sub-acute unit, and a secured memory care unit, offering a diverse and engaging clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to residents in a skilled nursing and memory care setting
• Evaluate, treat, and document patient progress according to established care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary therapy and nursing teams
• Participate in care planning and team meetings as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems

Schedule

• Day shift
• Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (schedule may vary)

Requirements

• Active state Speech Therapy license
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

EMR Experience

• Experience with NetHealth, PCC, or PointClick preferred
• Training and mentorship available for therapists new to SNF or these EMR systems

Certifications

• Current BLS/BCLS required
