Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Evidence of continuing education appropriate to skill level and area of practice
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Oregon RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab
- Conscious sedation training
- Monitor role experience
Certifications
- Specialty certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale
- IV certification
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to provide age-specific, culturally competent care addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Strong patient advocacy and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse population
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred

- Infusion pumps
- PCA pumps
- Standard interventional and medical equipment
- Computer systems, printers, photocopiers
- Patient charts and electronic documentation tools
