Description

Licensure Requirements

Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license
License must be in hand

Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN)

Specialty & Experience Requirements

CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
Experience with cardiac and vascular procedures
- Must be competent at levels 3s and 4s
Strong endovascular experience required
Preferred (not required):
- Neurosurgery experience
- Surgical Oncology experience
- Robotics experience

Floating Requirements

Must be willing to float to General OR if needed
May be asked to float between three campuses:
- Emory Saint Joseph’s
- Emory University
- Emory Midtown
Typically 1 day notice for campus floating
On-call responsibility remains at the originally booked location

Call Requirements

Call required: 48–60 hours every 4-week period
Weekend call required

Scheduling & Assignment Rules

AM 12-hour shifts
13-week assignment
Available start dates: Every Monday

Traveler Eligibility

No local travelers
- 50-mile radius rule applies

Interview Requirement

Nurse Manager interviews all candidates

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
