Job Title: RN – Mother/Baby
Facility: Overlook Medical Center (Atlantic Health System)
Department: Mother Baby Unit / Maternity
Location: 99 Beauvoir Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901
Contract Details:
- Start Date: 03/09/2026
- End Date: 05/02/2026
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Days per Week: 3
- Weekends: 3–4 weekends per month
- Holidays: 1–2 holidays required
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive Mother/Baby nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
- Care for mother and newborn as a couplet
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team through Shared Governance
- Deliver evidence-based care while upholding PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, Excellence)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Active RN License (required)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Must be able to care for mother and baby as a couplet
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Education: BSN preferred
- Language: English (Read, Write, Speak)

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.
Cons
Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
