Description
5 L&D Beds - # of OR Suites: 1 OR Suite -- # of triage beds: 2 Triage Beds - # of Postpartum beds: All LDRP + 2 overflow rooms for PP - # of births per day, per year : 230/yr. - Do ratios follow AWHONN guidelines?: Yes - Required Certifications: ACLS, NRP - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Lower risk OB (35 wks.+), Level I Nursery - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Labor and Delivery, PP, Nsy - Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: No - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: No - Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit?: No - OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?: No - RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc.): Bubble C-Pap - Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: No - EFM System: Obix, Epic - Shifts & Scheduling: 6pm-6am - Weekend Requirement: Yes or could be every Wed, Thurs, Friday 6p-6a - Holiday Requirement: Yes-depending on contract dates
