Description
OPEN TO 48 HRS/WK
Must work at least 3 of the following 6 dates: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years.
Unit hematology oncology.
ONC cert NOT required but would love candidates with experience/ Manager will teach clinician how to administer CHEMO - can be a great learning opportunity.
Must have solid experience as an RN - at least 1 yr on first job.
1 or more yrs of Level 1 or VERY Large hospital experience required.
Travel experience with extension is preferred.
EPIC CHARTING experience is required.
- # Beds: 32.
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: typical ratio for all medsurg units is 1:5 up to 1:6 at times, ratio would be.
Adjusted down for higher acuity patients.
- Required certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?): BLS, charge RN's have ACLS.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients hem/onc, chemo.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: level 1 trauma experience required.
Experience at a larger facility.
With a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients, must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes, hem/onc.
And chemo experience preferred.
