**CERTIFICATION REQURIED AT SUBMITTAL** Unit Anesthesia Tech- Surgery Department # Suites "Support 38 Rooms between: 17 Main OR, 4 CVOR, 3 CCL, 3 L&D, 2 Endo, EP lab suites, and various MRI, CT, US, X-Ray, and Nuc Med rooms" Ratios 38 rooms and staff 8 employees Required Certifications BLS, and Cer.ATT Common duties "Duties: cleaning of anesthesia machines, setting up circuits, doing anesthesia machine checks, wiping down machines, inventory Anesthesia Machines, Omnicells, Supply Cabinets, Restocking, moving items to needed location, multitasking, Do NOT start IV (set up for art lines and assist CRNA) Responding to codes: OB Stat, Anesthesia Stat, Trauma, and Stoke Alerts" Experience or 'Must have' skills "Peds experience is preferred 1 year of experience okay Okay with first time travelers Prefer expereince with GE anesthesia machines, and Mindray " Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Tech supervisor- Sean is a great resource, new manager and have a director over all of surgical services Anesthesia in House 24/7 "Anesthesiologists & CRNAs in house 24/7 Have a peds trauma program Main and CVOR can do urgent cases (30 minute response time)" Equipment (brands) GE anesthesia machines, and Mindray Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? Techs to read strips? No tele requirement Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) "ORs try to be staffed 24/7 - Opportunity for OT " Weekend Requirements Sundays- with the set schedule Holiday Requirements Yes, unless approved RTO prior Is there call or a standby requirement?
