Required Qualifications & Experience
- Active RN license (will not hire without a license)
- If license is pending, proof of process must be provided
- Copy of Driver’s License
- Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years recent Step Down / CPU experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience overall
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Certifications (Required):
- BLS
- ACLS
- Required Skills & Competencies:
- Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring)
- Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- IV starts and IV maintenance
- Central lines, PICC lines, peripheral line care
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Insulin drip management and IV insulin protocols
- Heparin protocols
- Blood product administration
- Post-cardiac angiogram and pre/post cardiac cath care
- TR Band management
- Management of chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac)
- Tracheostomy care
- Renal failure management
- PCA management
- CVA care
- Oxygen therapy (HFNC, CPAP/BIPAP, nasal cannula)
- ABG interpretation
- Non-invasive airway management
- Feeding tube care
- Wound care and wound vacs
- Isolation precautions
- Rapid Response/Code Team utilization
- Charting Experience:
- Cerner (required)
Scheduling & Work Requirements
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Holiday coverage required
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO must be included at submission)
- Two pre-approved time-off requests allowed
- Float and call requirements not specified
Residency Rules (Strictly Enforced):
- Travelers living less than 30 miles from the facility are not accepted
- Candidates living 31–50 miles qualify for local rate
- Residency verification required to determine pay rate

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.
Cons
Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
